What is moveradar?
moveradar is a live map of available shared e-scooters and rental bikes in Munich — across providers, free, with no account and no tracking. One question, one answer: where is the nearest usable vehicle right now?
How it works
- Open moveradar.app — the map centres on your location if you allow it.
- Tap a vehicle: type, battery level and provider appear. Filters for e-scooter, bike and e-bike sit right on the map.
- Tap "open app" or "unlock" — the rental itself runs in the provider's app.
Which providers are included?
- Dott — e-scooters and e-bikes
- MyRadl — rental bikes and e-bikes (operated by nextbike)
- Call a Bike — Deutsche Bahn's rental bikes
That's around 8,000 vehicles altogether. Voi, Lime and Bolt are missing because they publish no open real-time data for Munich — the integration is prepared and will be activated as soon as data becomes available.
Zones: where may I ride and park?
The layers button on the map shows a provider's geofencing rules:
- No riding (red) — passing through is forbidden too.
- No parking (orange) — ride through yes, ending the rental no.
- Low speed (blue) — the vehicle is automatically throttled.
- Mandatory parking (green) — leave the vehicle here.
Zones apply per provider and come from the same official feeds as the vehicle positions.

How much does moveradar cost?
Nothing. moveradar is free, ad-free and works without any account or sign-up.
Can I rent vehicles directly through moveradar?
No. moveradar shows where vehicles are and links straight into the provider's own app — unlocking and payment happen there.
Is my location transmitted?
No. Your browser asks for permission first, the position is used only locally for the map view and is never sent to moveradar or third parties — details in the privacy policy.
Which cities does moveradar cover?
Currently Munich, Germany.
How fresh is the data?
The map refreshes every 30 seconds straight from the providers' official open GBFS feeds — with no server of our own in between.
